PC Games And Why They Could Be A Waste Of Time
Don’t get the wrong idea here because gaming is something that I really love. What I don’t get is this attraction to PC gaming; that is a huge waste of time. When it comes to consoles, you really are getting the ultimate in game play but there are still so many people who think that there is nothing better than playing games on your PC. And it is not just the fact that they prefer PC games that bothers me, although this really does bother me; it is the fact that they continue to insist that they are the real deal when it comes to gamers. The fact is that they are just being snobby and I find this quite insulting because at the end of the day, their argument holds no truth.
Not only is PC gaming less practical and convenient than playing games on a games console, it is also less enjoyable. Consoles like Playstation have been created specifically for playing games, but a PC hasn’t. Although you can play games on a PC, it is similar to the fact that you could also use a biscuit tin for drum playing; however that does not mean that real drummers will want to use a biscuit tin as their instrument of choice. If you want to be able to play your favourite games on a PC you will likely have to waste a lot of time and money adapting the machine maybe even building your own computer from scratch. PC gaming is sort of like tying to reinvent the wheel; there is just no need for it.
To be honest with you, there is not one game that I would prefer to play on the PC rather than the games console. I will say this, the PC gamer is very narrow minded and really should think about getting out more. They really need to take another look at their whole argument if they believe that it is better to play games on a PC instead of a games console.
