What do you think of this menu?
I am making a suprise “gourmet” dinner for my husband. Here’s the menu:
Appetizer: White Stilton cheese /w/ cherries in it. Seriously Sharp Cabot Cheddar. Sliced apple and pear. Crackers.
Main Course: Bacon wrapped filet minon topped with a mild bleu cheese and grilled onions (the filet is grilled too, of course, with hickory chips added to grill)
Side dish: (on grill, wrapped in foil) Asparagus tips, purple cauliflower (yes, it exists and is naturally that color, and baby carrots in garlic, lemon thyme butter)
Dessert: Organic raspberries and blueberries with creme fraiche
Go for it, sounds nice, really nice, quite light food.
Lots of cheese there, I love cheese but I am sensitive to dairy.
Purple Broccoli, I love it, I also love Romanesque Cauliflower, beautiful fractals.
