Whats best for sharpening pocket knives? whetstone and leather strop or japanese water stones?
I never sharpened a knife before, so i need simplicity as i have no experience. and am looking for Maximum sharpness, as well as some deegree learning.
if it helps the knives are all gerbers remix (fine), EVO(combo), and paraframe 2(combo).
also if you know of any other good knives i might like feel free to let me know!
Arkansas stones work great. Get a coarse one and a fine one. Sharpen at 21 degree angle using a cuting/shaving motion.
