how do you get candle wax out of a glass container?
i have a candle in a nice little glass jar type thing… and i don’t know how to get it out because the candle wont lite so its not very useful, but i would like to keep the container in witch it’s in.
i was wondering if it would be safe to put it in the microwave ???

NO microwave – there is a metal clasp on the bottom of most candles that holds the wick. Run the hottest water you can in to the jar – let soak about 3-5 mins dump out the water and see if it is lose enough to come out. If not repeat. I use an old butter knife to dig wax out – then soak in the hot water to get the residue gone. Once you have all the wax out wash w/dishpan detergent
