Give Your Kitchen a Vineyard Look with Wine Inspired Kitchen Décor
If you love a great glass of wine, then you’ll really enjoy bringing wine kitchen décor into the heart of your home. The beauty and allure of a vineyard works well as a kitchen theme, whether you are interested in completely redesigning your kitchen, or prefer to start small with a few accessories that can grow over time.
Incorporate Art and Flavor with the Right Wine Kitchen Décor
A wine or vineyard theme lends itself well to art in the kitchen, and this is a theme for which an investment in wall art can make a big difference. Perhaps the best form of wall art is a mural of a vineyard that is splashed across several tiles and covers a large area. Tile murals work well over the stove, or anywhere between the counter and cabinetry, particularly if a wine cabinet is in the mix. In addition to mural wine kitchen décor, there are also wine and vineyard accent tiles that can be used throughout the kitchen.
You can extend the artistic appeal of grapes and vineyards to your cabinets as well. There are several styles of cabinet knobs and drawer handles available on the market including ceramic and brass, which incorporate grape, wine bottle and cork designs. Another artistic approach that uses the vineyard theme is to paint the walls a deep purple and light green, or to stencil a vineyard theme border. You may also prefer to paint your cabinets or pantry door using a grape motif, which is a great kitchen décor idea that is not often utilized.
Aside from all of the artistic possibilities, there are endless accessories available on the market including dishes, serving trays, trivets, canister sets, cookie jars and even sponge holders for your sink. It goes without saying that a wine rack is a welcome fit for your wine kitchen décor theme, whether large or small. Some larger wine racks even have drawers and cabinet space for storage, but a smaller rack that can sit on top of the counter or cabinet top also works nicely if you do not have a lot of space available. If you do have space available on top of your cabinets, baskets containing wine bottles, and artificial grapes and vines can add a lot of pizzazz. Finally, you can wrap up your wine kitchen décor with a wine themed paper towel holder and kitchen linen set.
