After selecting it and pasting it in another document first 1.) Use the CROP
tool (shortcut is C)to crop excess background,using crop tool will show you a box of how you want to crop it and press ENTER to finalize.2.) Go to File Menu and choose SAVE AS PNG file.If you export it in Png and use it in web or in flash it will remove the white background.
