can i put acrylic k&b paint over alkyd melamine paint with just sanding in between no primer?
doing kitchen cabs and don’t want to prime everything
why would you want to put a water based paint on them ever if you did prime them? just repaint them with an alkyd paint again. there is no need to prime plus the alkyd finish will stand up far better than any water based paint will. just make sure you give a light sand and clean well with TSP and water, rinse , allow to dry and repaint.
