this one’s a bit weird…?
so i was opening oysters and i noticed this red thing on the shell between two oysters stuck together. i took it off with the knife cause i didn’t wanna touch it and i put it on the table to observe. and me, being my curious self, started pokin at the thing with the knife to see if it was alive. and it was. i’m glad i didn’t touch it because the mouth (~1 mm wide) had some sort of fangs it looked like. and then it would do something like the aliens in the “Alien” movies where it would have this other thing come out of the mouth. it was wierd. it’s bothering me of what it is, here’s the description:
redish in color
worm like
~1 in long
little legs or spikes sticking out along both sides of the body
little fangs
another thing that would come out of the mouth.
i know it’s not much of an image but if you know what it is that would help because it’s buggin me (and i wanna know if i find another one in the future)

Sounds like one of the sand worms or clam worms.
