smoke dedector on the ceiling?
I have a smoke dedector ( http://photo.pchome.com.tw/bertkao/128783197479 ) on the ceiling in the kitchen. I want to turn it off or remove it because it’s too sensitive.
How do I do? I couldn’t find the screw or open it.
It’s not advisable to have them in kitchens for that very reason.Most are placed just outside the kitchen door.If it’s a battery run detector just remove the batteries.If it’s electric you may need to get an electrician to look at moving it.Either way,remember to replace it with another in a better position.
