Toxicity of circuit boards – a design question.?
I was wondering how dangerous to my health it would be to use circuit boards as a background for buttons or jewellery charms, provided they are sealed in a clear resin/epoxy/liquid sculpy material?
I’m not planning on using the diodes, resistors or other chips but the parts with the soldering and gold lines on them. I know they can be toxic to handle but what if they’re completely sealed in epoxy. Would it still be dangerous to my health to use these for clothing/jewellery purposes?
The “gold” lines are actually copper, which should be safe if encased in a resin/epoxy/etc.
