Who thinks that it is a good idea,..,.,?
for all large corporations that produce or manufacture recycable materials such as batteries, plastics,dipers,newspapers bottles,just to mention a very few mass produced and reusable materials hold the responsibility to tell and ensure that all customers to return all such items back to the corporation were they perchased it so the corporation can recycle or reuse the item again,..Then the savings would be passed on through the corporation to the customer,and it would be a win,win,situation to all..,what do you think of the reuse, recycle program inforced now and the way it is currently set up,.?

I think that it is a good idea, minus the diapers–cause who wants to return a used diaper?, but it would be hard to enforce. When you say return to the corporation…are you talking about setting up centers like like bottle return centers? It’s hard to get people to take the extra step to save these items if it involves them having to bring the stuff somewhere and in the meantime, find a place to store it in their house…personally, I live in a place that doesn’t even have recycling (it’s so effed up!) and i save all my bottles to bring to a friend’s house that does have recycling..but I don’t know of anyone else around that goes that far….
I used to live in a town that made you pay for special trashbags and gave you a box for recycling, and people would recycle because the bags cost so much..and the state had a bottle return program which in my opinion, really does work! Even bottles on the side of the road would get picked up by someone who could use the 5 cents…
state and city governments need to take further action to make people recycle..impose fines but also make it easily accessible…then the recycling centers can be partially funded by corporations who want thier recycled materials back…
