Cant seem to get enough to drink?
Im 24 weeks pregnant with baby # 4, for the past few days it seems like i just cant get enough water to drink. I will stand at the kitchen sink and literally fill up a glass of water and chug it, refill it and chug another. Some times it seems like i cant drink it fast enough. I have 2 rubbermaid drink containers in the fridge filled with water, they are 20oz each. in a days time i will drink 4-5 of those and still feel like im dehydrated, is this normal? I don’t ever remember feeling like this with any of my other pregnancies. whats going on?
Has anyone else felt like this?
No i have not had my glucose test done yet, I also see a high risk dr due to previous preemie births. So i see the dr about every 2 weeks through my entire pregnancy. Also im not peeing as much as im drinking. you would think i would be floating away but im not peeing any more than i would if i was not pregnant.
No def not normal, this really sounds like you could have developed gestational diabetes. You need to mention this to your doctor at your next appt. I had gestational diabetes and the earlier you get it diagnosed the better it is for you and baby.
