Where is the modulator and vacuum line on my 1987 Full size Bronco?
My Bronco won’t shift into 2nd and I have been told to check the vacuum line on my transmission which is located on the modulator, i can’t find either of these. Is possible my bronco doesn’t have them, if not where are they?
there will be a cap on the side of the transmission looks alot like the hub on your brakes with a flip wire on it to hold it on u can flip the wire remove the cap with a flathead screw driver then just pull it out look for metal shavings the vacuum hose should be attatched right there also dont know much about bronco but thats the way gm cars are hope that helps if u find shaving u can clean it up with trans fluid will work for a bit but your trans is about to go out bands shot
