My 10 years old son got .5 cm scratch by stainless steel knife yesterday. Should he get Tetanus vaccine?
When? The cut wasn’t deep. Blood stopped within few seconds. Please give me answer as soon as possible. Thank you.
Well he should get a tetanus shot anyways in case something happens that he could get it from, but unless the stainless steel knife is rusty I think it’s very highly unlikely that he will get tetanus from that. There is a chart that tells you how frequently your child should get a tetanus shot and it’s a very good idea to get it at those intervals.
Also, ignore tari lee, that’s ridiculous and uncalled for. I’m sure you’re a fine parent and not everybody knows these things.
