Will my christmas cake keep well?
I made a christmas cake on the 23rd November. The recipe is very similar to the Delia Smith classic christmas cake recipe. However I decided to use no alcohol. I don’t wish to eat it until the christmas week. Will it keep fine for then and if so is it best to wrap in greaseproof paper in a Tupperware box? Thank you
I would wrap it well in foil then put in an airtight tin. You can place some brown paper over the tin before putting the lid on as this will give it a tighter fit. I always ask my neighbours for any “sweet” tins after Christmas as they make good cake tins.
