OMG! Is ebay returning very involved??lol?
Okay I just bought a “wusthof ikon blackwood 8 inch chef’s knife” I bought it for a fair price of $180. Now the key part of the knife is that is has a WOODEN handle, african grenedill, very hard stuff. Ok so I get the knife in the mail, the knife itself is in good condition, the box was kinda smashed.
BUT IT WAS THE WRONG KNIFE, it was a Wusthof Ikon 8 inch but not blackwood, it was a synthetic handle, the particular knife I got was nice but I could have bought for it $120 easy.
Now here is the dilema, I don’t want to go through this long tedious drawn out process to save 60 bucks (if im lucky). I really dont mind the knife, i dont know what to do, I am on the fence. I dont really feel like getting involved in this, I just want a good knife, which I got, it’s just I paid $60 extra.IDK!!!!
First ask the seller to refund you 60 bucks that you got the wrong knife. explain that youll take the one you got in return for 60 dollar refund. If that doesnt work complain to ebay and tell them that you bought something from a seller to was advertised as you wanted it and you received a different model and the seller is not helping resolve your issue, ebay will be able to help you.
